SID & GIFTS

Unbelievable.

Previously I had mentioned that Sid found out about her Christmas gift, and whined until I gave it to her.

Of course, I went out to buy another, hoping to surprise her on Christmas morning. I wrapped the new dog toy and put it under the tree. And lo and behold, an hour later I hear ripping noises. I find Sid tearing apart the wrapping of the very gift I had just gotten for her. There were many presents under the tree, but she somehow figured out that, that was her toy.

I took it away from her, at least for the time being. She's at my bedroom door whining now, because she wants me to give her the new toy. So freaking greedy.

Now I'm wrapping her third gift. But this time, I placed it in a box and then wrapped it twice so it would be hard for her to open or to sniff out.

Despite having to buy three gifts this Christmas for her, I still think her little "crime" is adorable and amusing. For one thing, it makes a good Christmas story.
